Module Installation

How to Manage SentinelAC Modules

Installing the Module

Setting up Safe Events, Anti-Executor, and Anti-Inject via the Modules in SentinelAC is designed to be an easy, straight-forward process that secures your server from any malicious activities.

To begin the installation process, all you need to do is run one of the following commands in your server console:

/sentinelac install main all -- Installs the Module to all resources.
/sentinelac install main [resource_name] -- Installs the Module to a specific resource.

Once installing the SentinelAC Module into one or more of your resources, wait for your server console to inform you that it has successfully installed, once it has, simply restart your server! Your server is now protected by SentinelAC's Advanced Modules.

Uninstalling the Module

In the unlikely event that you would need to disable any of the features that come alongside the SentinelAC Module, the process is just as simple as the installation process.

To start uninstalling the module, simply one of the following commands in your server console:

/sentinelac uninstall main all -- Installs the Safe Events Module to all resources.
/sentinelac uninstall main [resource_name] -- Installs the Safe Events Module to a specific resource.

After running these commands, SentinelAC will let you know once it has completed the process of uninstalling the Module. Once this process has completed, restart your server. These detections have now been disabled.

Keep in mind...

With the installation of the SentinelAC Module, with the added protection that it adds, the time to load into your server may be increased. This is due to a new module now being apart of every single resource in your server. If your server has an excessive amount of resources, this may cause extreme delays to enter your server.

This time to load in can be greatly reduced with a reduction in server resources. We've seen that it is common that many servers have all of their Add-On Vehicles as separate resources, this is generally not a good practice for reasons such as this one. However, reducing the amount of resources without removing any vehicles is easy, as shown in the video below. (Please note, the creator of this video is not affiliated in any way with CaroNet Systems, SentinelAC, or any other related parties)

Following the completion of this, you would have reduced the amount of resources in your server, without actually removing any vehicles. This will allow for your load-in time with the SentinelAC Module to be greatly reduced.
