How to Configure Sentinel Anti-Cheat



The system for Configuring SentinelAC has been made as easy as possible for you to be able to adjust it perfectly for your server. This section will review how different punishments function, each configuration option, and how they may affect your server.


Common Terms

  • Activity: Whether a certain Configuration option is Turned on or off.

  • Punishment: What will happen if a player is caught doing X.

    • Punishment - Ban: This will Ban a player permanently from your server.

    • Punishment - Kick: This will remove the player from your server.

    • Punishment - Warn: This will simply Log in your discord server that the player was caught doing X.


Configuration Options

Anti-Accuracy Modifier:

This detection will go off when a cheater modifies the Weapon Accuracy of the weapon they are holding.

Anti-AI Files:

This detection will go off when a cheater modifies any attributes about any client-sided files in their game. Any changes such as Weapon Damage Changes, Super-Punch Mods, and more would be instantly detected.

Anti-Aimbot:

SentinelAC’s aimbot detection analyzes player input patterns and aiming behavior to flag the unnatural precision and reaction speeds that only cheats can produce. This module immediately detects any type of aimbot that cheaters may use to gain unfair advantages.

Anti-Armour:

This detection will go off when a cheater unnaturally modifies their armour levels to an unattainable point

Anti-Backdoor:

This detection will go off when a resource infected with a Backdoor has been detected in your server. You will be alerted via a console notification and a discord notification via the SentinelAC Bot.

Anti-Blacklisted Names:

This detection will go off when a player has part of their name as something not allowed.

Anti-Blacklisted Textures:

This detection will go off when a cheater injects a LUA Mod Menu that has certain cheating-related textures loaded.

Anti-Blips:

This detection will go off when a cheater activates Player-Blips, where they can see all players on their map. The "Max" option allows you to choose how many Blips a player can have before they get detected.

This detection will go off when a player puts a link in chat.

Anti-Chat Spam:

This detection will go off when a player is deemed to be "Spamming" the in-game chat.

Anti-Command Inject:

This detection will go off when a cheater Injects Cheating-Related Chat Commands into their client.

Anti-Damage Modifier:

This detection will go off when a cheater modifies the amount of damage their weapon does in order to gain an unfair advantage.

Anti-Damage:

This section has two detections. Anti-Kill, where any attempts to kill a player through cheats are detected, as well as Anti-Skript_Fold, which detects cheaters attempting to use broken mechanics to "Fold" a player.

Anti-Entity:

This Section has multiple parts to detecting cheating players through entities. Entities are Vehicles, Peds, and Objects.

  • Anti-Blacklisted Entities: Whenever a player spawns an entity listed in the Blacklist, they will be detected.

  • Anti-Entity Spam: This detection will go off whenever a player is deemed to be spam spawning entities

  • Whitelisted Entities Only: This will punish a player if they spawn a non-whitelisted entity (We recommend keeping this disabled).

  • Suspicious Ped Spawning: This detection will go off whenever a player spawns what is deemed to be a 'Suspicious' Ped, commonly spawned by cheaters.

Anti-Events:

This Section has multiple parts to detecting cheating players through events.

  • Activity: If Active, Safe Events and all other Events related detections will be enabled

  • Details Regarding Safe Events: When activated, Installation is Automatic. There is no need to make any changes yourself.

  • Spam Events: This detection will go off when a cheater is spamming an event that is listed.

  • Whitelisted Events: Events not to detect on.

  • Blacklisted Client Events: This detection will go off when a cheater triggers a client event that is listed.

  • Blacklisted Server Events: This detection will go off when a cheater triggers a server event that is listed.

Anti-Executor:

This detection will go off when a cheater is doing actions that are known to be affiliated with common Internal Cheats such as Eulen, Susano, and RedEngine.

Anti-Explosion:

This Section has multiple parts to detecting cheating players through explosions.

  • Anti-Silent Explosion: This detection will go off when a cheater triggers an explosion that is Silent.

  • Anti-Explosion Spam: This detection will go off whenever a player is deemed to be spam triggering explosions.

  • Anti-Invisible Explosion: This detection will go off when a cheater triggers an explosion that is Invisible.

  • Anti-Safe Explosion: This detection will go off when a cheater triggers an explosion that attempts to not be detected by the server.

  • Whitelisted Explosions: If a certain explosion is causing players to be falsely detected, simply put the Explosion # into the table to stop detections for that explosion.

  • Explosion #X: What to do if a player triggers that exact explosion: Follow the guide below on which explosion is which.

Anti-Explosive Bullets:

This detection will go off when a cheater shoots their weapon with explosive bullets. You can whitelist certain weapons so they do not get detected.

Anti-Fake Message:

This detection will go off when a cheater sends a message in chat pretending to be another player. (This is an old, yet still valid detection)

Anti-Freecam:

This detection will go off when a cheater is detected using a Freecam system. This WILL Detect Eulen Freecam and Susano Freecam.

Anti-Give Weapons

This detection will go off when a cheater is detected holding a weapon that they either did not spawn with, or that they do not have in their inventory (Framework Safe!)

Anti-Health:

This detection will go off when a cheater unnaturally modifies their Health levels to an unattainable point

Anti-Hitbox:

This detection will go off when a cheater modifies their Hitbox so they cannot be hit OR they modify other player's hitboxes on their client to make it easier to hit them.

Anti-Infinite Ammo:

This detection will go off when a cheater enables a cheat where they have infinite ammunition in their weapon.

Anti-Infinite Roll:

This detection will go off when a cheater enables a cheat that allows them to combat-roll infinitely without delay.

Anti-Inject:

This detection will go off when a cheater injects LUA Code into their client's runtime to cheat.

Anti-Invincibility:

This detection will go off when a cheater is detected being Invincible. This WILL Detect Eulen's Invincibility System.

Anti-Invisible:

This detection will go off when a cheater is detected enabling an Invisibility cheat. This WILL Detect Eulen's Invisibility System.

Anti-Magic Bullet:

This detection will go off when a cheater is using Magic Bullet Hacks to kill other players. This could be shooting around walls, shooting a player when not aiming at them, etc.

Anti-Menyoo:

This detection will go off when a cheater is detected using Menyoo in your server.

Anti-Multi Login:

This detection will go off when a player attempts to join your server on two separate instances/computers.

Anti-Noclip:

This detection will go off when a cheater is detected NoClipping. Staff will not be punished for noclipping. This WILL Detect Eulen's Noclip System.

Anti-NUIDevTools:

This detection will go off when a player enters the FiveM NUI Dev Tools.

Anti-Particle:

This Section has multiple parts to detecting cheating players through particles.

  • Anti-Particle Spam: This detection will go off whenever a player is deemed to be spam spawning particles.

  • Anti-Particle Scale: Whenever a cheater spawns unreasonably large particles.

  • Particle Whitelist: Particles that are allowed to bypass detections

Anti-Proofs:

This detection will go off when a cheater enables parts of the proofs system on their ped.

  • Anti-Bullet-Proof: Will detect when a player is Bulletproof

  • Anti-Fire-Proof: Will detect when a player is Immune to Fire

  • Anti-Explosion-Proof: Will detect when a player is Immune to Explosions

  • Anti-Collision-Proof: Will detect when a player can go through Collisions.

  • Anti-Melee-Proof: Will detect when a player is Immune to Melee Attacks

  • Anti-Steam-Proof: Will detect when a player is Immune to Steam.

  • Anti-Drown-Proof: Will detect when a player is Immune to Drowning.

Anti-Rapid Fire:

This detection will go off when a cheater shoots their weapon at an unnaturally fast fire-rate.

Anti-Resource Tampering:

This detection will go off when a cheater is detected to be Tampering with resource states.

Anti-Silent Aim:

This detection will go off when a cheater shoots a player even when not looking at them.

Anti-Solo Session:

This detection will go off when a player enters a solo session.

Anti-Speed:

This detection will go off when a cheater is moving at unnaturally fast speeds on foot.

Anti-Spectate:

This detection will go off when a cheater is detected Spectating another player. Staff will not be detected for this.

Anti-Stamina:

This detection will go off when a player is detected having infinite stamina

Anti-Super Jump:

This detection will go off when a cheater is detected super-jumping (When a player jumps to unnaturally high points)

Anti-Teleport:

This detection will go off when a cheater is detected teleporting with cheats.

Anti-Teleport-Player:

This detection will go off when a cheater is detected teleporting other players to themselves.

Anti-Tiny Ped:

This detection will go off when a cheater makes their Ped unreasonably small.

Anti-Vehicles:

This Section has multiple parts to detecting cheating players through vehicles.

  • Blacklisted Vehicles: This detection will go off whenever a player spawns a blacklisted vehicle

  • Safe Spawning: This detection will go off whenever a cheater attempts to spawn a vehicle through a "Safe Spawn" cheat.

  • Vehicle Gun: This detection will go off when a cheater attempts to "shoot" a vehicle.

Anti-Vehicle Modifier:

This Section has multiple parts to detecting cheating players through vehicle modifications.

  • Top Speed: This detection will go off whenever a is driving a vehicle at speeds above your set limit

  • Attach Vehicle To Self: This detection will go off whenever a player attaches a vehicle to themself.

  • Change Plate: This detection will go off when a player changes the license plate on their vehicle.

  • Vehicle Godmode: This detection will go off when a cheater attempts to put their vehicle into a 'Godmode' State.

  • Vehicle Handling: This detection will go off when a player changes the handling values on their vehicle.

Anti-Vision:

This Section has multiple parts to detecting cheating players through Vision. This will not detect when using the proper weapons that allow for such vision.

  • Thermal Vision: This detection will go off whenever a player is using Thermal (Heat) vision.

  • Night Vision: This detection will go off whenever a player is using Night vision.

Anti-VPN:

This detection will go off when a player is detected using a VPN or a Proxy.

You can whitelist an IP by adding it to the "IP Whitelists" Table

Anti-Weird Resources:

This detection will go off when a cheater injects an unknown resource into their client.

Anti-XSS:

This detection will go off when a player attempts an XSS Injection.

Blacklisted Weapons:

This detection will go off when a cheater gives themselves or other peds blacklisted weapons.

Blacklisted Words:

This detection will go off when a player puts a blacklisted word into the chat.

OCR Detections:

This detection will go off when a cheater has a blacklisted word or phrase detected on their screen via OCR Detection methods. (Recommended for catching LUA Mod Menu cheaters)

Other Antis:

These various detections will trigger whenever a cheater does any of these below.

  • Anti-Add-Weapons: Will detect when a cheater adds weapons to another player.

  • Anti-Remove-Weapons: Will detect when a cheater removes weapons from another player.

  • Anti-Clear-Tasks: Will detect when a cheater clears the tasks of another player or ped.

  • Anti-Bring-All: Will detect when a cheater attempts to bring all players to them.

  • Anti-Kill-Spam: Will detect when a cheater is deemed to be spam-killing many other players.

    • AntiKillSpamAmount: The amount of players needed to be killed to be considered spam.

    • AntiKillSpamTime: The Timeframe for the players to be killed in for it to be considered spam.

Player checks:

These various detections will trigger whenever a player is detected with any of the following:

  • Ping: The max ping a player can have before being kicked from the server

  • Heartbeat: Ensuring the connection between the player and the server. We strongly recommend you keep this on.

Require on Join:

  • Steam: Require Steam whenever a player joins your server.

  • Discord: Require Discord whenever a player joins your server.

VulcanAI Integration:

VulcanAI is the CaroNet Systems, proprietary Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Integration. With having VulcanAI Integrated, AI systems evaluate what is on the player's screen as well as their behavior in order to detect whether they are cheating.

Miscellaneous:

  • Get Screenshots: Whether or not to provide screenshots whenever a player is banned in the logs.

    • This comes with tradeoffs. With this enabled, proof will be provided that may prove the guiltiness or innocence of the player, however, it may take an extra few seconds for the player to be punished.

  • Staff Team Ace Permission: The FiveM Ace Permission for your staff team so they do not get falsely banned for normally doing their staff duties.

  • Entity Lockdown Mode: The entity lockdown mode to put your server under. Follow the tutorial below to know how to set this.

  • Notifications

    • Public Ban Notifications: Whether to have public messages sent to all players when a player get banned for cheating.

    • Staff Alerts: Whether to have staff alerted whenever a player has a warning put on them for potentially cheating.
